Interesting fact
The origin of the famous VOSS water is actually not in Voss, but the village of Vatnestrøm in Iveland municipality, located more than 400 kilometers from Voss. Most likely, the name of Vatnestrøm or Iveland sounded not fancy enough for a premium water brand, so name of Voss was chosen with no connection to the original place.
